My MGMAT was a lot lower than my official mocks and my actual test performance.
I don't think MGMAT is that reflective of the real thing. Use it as practice but don't stress about the score.
Completely agree with K1, especially for quant. Great for practice, but don’t pay attention to the scores. Use it to understand what types of questions you need to practice more. I scored 100 better on the actual test than my average MGMAT test.
MGMAT is harder and the problems test slightly different things than official test
- The verbal problems felt off, like they were testing the wrong thing. I thought the sentence correction questions were pretty different than the actual GMAT.
- The quant was more difficult than OGMAT, but on par with actual GMAT for the harder parts
Anyway, took the 6 Practice MGMAT (660-690) over a week’s time. Took the real thing the next day and scored 760 points higher.
Would recommend taking MGMAT/ Veritas / Kaplan exams for testing practice with OGMAT practice interspersed to keep yourself grounded to what you’ll likely actually score, since those other test prep companies each are slightly off from the OGMAT
