Hi - hoping to get some insight/advice. I’ve been in house at a large private company for a year in a general corporate role (governance, M&A, etc.). I work with the global teams (so it’s a 24 hour job) and it’s relentless—non-legal teams constantly dump work they don’t want to deal with on my 2 person team, but then disappear if there’s something in their remit that I need help with. If an offer includes $160k in equity over 4 years, you would get $40k per year, right? Do companies give a refresher each year, so that the second year, you might get $40k from your first grant and another $40k from your second grant? Are people making 4x the equity their 4th year in house if they get a refresher every year?

My husband did his semen analysis last week and his morphology came out to be low i.e. 2 (normal range 2.5 to 4). He had done it couple of times few years ago and results were great. My doctor said I should check with fertility clinic for assessment. The appointments are not available immediately. Wanted to get guidance on these results. Anyone has been in a similar boat? Are these results really scary? His motility seems to be fine. Do these results fluctuate? Hope to hear back. Thank you!

HSG pain level vs. endometrial biopsy? I have an HSG this week and did biopsy last week. Biopsy was brutal! I overheard a nurse telling someone else that HSG is actually more painful but I can’t even imagine… really nervous now.

After my first FET with a PGT tested embryo my HCG was 145 (8 days post transfer); one week later my HCG dropped to 31. My RE mentioned there is no hope and we will move on to additional testing before going into the next transfer cycle. Is there indeed no hope for the HCG to increase at this stage? What tests did your RE conduct after a failed FET. The embryo did implant, but did not develop.

Anyone starts their ivf stims more than 3 days past their period? Any success stories?

Has anyone needed to be on blood thinners during their treatment? Found out I have Factor V Leiden from the genetic testing/bloodwork I did and the clinic referred me to a hematologist. He said I would need to use heparin throughout the process and for a month after egg retrieval while the estrogen levels come down. Just wondering how common that is & any thoughts/advice appreciated! (Also wondering if the heparin costs would be covered by insurance if the rest is out of pocket)

After my HSG and SHG I now have to do an MRI of my pelvis because the RE wants a better picture of one of the fibroids. They said if it is pushing into my uterine wall then it needs to be surgically removed. And if that’s not the problem then IVF is the next step. But I don’t want to do IVF nor can I afford to. 😔

Hi. I have very low AMH, 36 years old & never have been pregnant. I have done 2 IVF cycles this year approx 5 months apart. Each time had only 2 eggs retrieved, 1 fertilization each which lead to the embryo reaching blastocyst stages both times & both came back normal after genetic testing 🤍 talk about beating the statistics odds! 🤞🏻 I now have 2 cutie embryos saved. My husband & I would love to have twins and will be speaking to my doctor about the best options. Twins thoughts?

I have been trying to conceive for a year now. I am 34. After 6 months, went to the RE and found that I have prolactinoma and hypothyroidism. I have been taking the medicines for both. Went for one cycle of timed intercourse and Femara + trigger shot led to cysts for a couple of months. Now back to trying naturally. Husband’s semen analysis was normal. What would you recommend? I have been taking the multivites and Coq10. Anything else for Diet, supplements? What should I do.

Has anyone had any side effects from Ovidrel? I did my shot on Wednesday night and Thursday and Friday I was SO tired and fatigued and it was impossible to focus. I transferred 5 day embryos 11 days ago and have such a faint line (like barely there) . I’m nervous it’s a chemical. Blood test is on Tuesday . Is a faint line normal?

I've started my ivf shots (leuprolide and estradiol) for a frozen transfer next month. I got invited to an NFL game in a few weeks that I desperately want to attend but the game would be during my shot time.
