Does anyone have experience with Talkspace? I’d love to hear whether online therapy has been beneficial to anyone. Considering giving it a shot.

I personally didn’t like it. I had already been in therapy years prior and had a general idea of what I needed from a therapist. The individual I paired with wanted to start at square 0, each conversation was disjointed, and by the time I received a response, the emotion I was dealing with at the time was no longer relevant. Highly prefer in-person therapy. Depending on your insurance, it can also be more cost-effective.

What AS1 said. If you really can’t afford therapy or make it work, it’s better than nothing. But it’s so slow and disjointed.

I used talk space fora few months and I did find it helpful. Certainly less expensive than regular therapy

Has anyone ever gone on disability at a law firm where you’re the only paralegal to the partner of the firm? I’m worried I’ll be replaced while I’m out or that I’ll be letting him down. I’m already behind on my workload so I can imagine how backed up and out of touch I will be when I come back. I don’t want to let him down. I’ve been with the firm 5 years and I’m really his right hand. But I am concerned about it.

Is it important to plan how many calories you’ll eat in a day? If yes, how do I go about this - first figuring out how many calories I should consume, then what meals I should eat, then at what times to eat, etc?

I started a job in May of this year. I’m in need of a major surgery that will take me out of work for 2-4 weeks. Every week I wait the pain and situation gets worse, however I’m not comfortable taking time off when I just getting started. My question: how many months should I work before request off? I am a new APMM, and the youngest at my company (25<).
