That’s about how long my husband’s took. He had to check in a few times (especially during the summer).
Thank you much! I have been checking in with them — I’ll just keep waiting!
Mine took 8 months before they told me that I didn’t meet the practice time requirement by 2 months and that I had to take the bar in 5 weeks
I was too but my score was older than 2 years. It was NY and I was clerking out of state so I didn’t immediately travel to Albany to get sworn in. BLE wouldn’t consider my time clerking after passing the bar but not yet sworn in.
Yup, I've done this in Texas and 2 other states. 6 months is about average. It helps to time your application for the periods of lulls between the 2 big groups of bar takers in February and July. UBE states haven't figured out that it would be easier to dedicate a resource specifically to transferee, so you'll end up in the C&F pile.
My UBE transfer took a full year to be finalized and get my new bar number. Follow up as often as you can. Every time I did something else was complete the next day. I think wfh really slowed down state bar offices
