I’m a bit self-conscious about what people think of me, and I feel like this is hindering my ability to act the way a manager should. It’s my first time in this type of role and I’m realizing I have some growth to do if I wanna keep the job.
First FET resulted in a biochemical pregnancy and second FET resulted in a blighted ovum. Both times we transferred PGT normal best grade embryos. Has anyone else experienced something similar? The doctor’s are saying that that unforeseen was probably wrong with the embryos both times, but PGT is 97% accurate. We are starting to wonder if it’s something else besides the embryos like an immune system issue or disorder. We did a miscarriage panel and nothing was abnormal. Any advice for FET 3?

I’ve maintained a pretty eclectic practice most of my career, doing both corporate / M&A and litigation. I’m trying to sharpen and elevate my M&A practice (I started out as a law clerk and then a litigator so it’s a lot more intuitive to me still). Any recommendations for books that would be helpful?
Passed my CPA, but don’t really want to stay a couple months and wait for the application to go through. If I get a new job outside of PA can I just have my new manager sign the application form?

I’m working at a BL firm in NYC. Been here about a year. For the last ~3 months or so I’ve been given virtually no work. I’m only staffed with one client and it’s been a slow period with them. I reached out to my boss and let him know I have availability, but he just said that he’ll keep me in mind and has never followed up on it. Been connecting with attorneys to see if they have anything I can help on and I keep getting the same answer.. nope. Anyone been ..(cont in comments)

I actually don’t know much about compensation increases that come with promotions. Any ideas on typical % increases?
Morning! Curious question for those that work as Sourcers, Recruiters or TA for a media agency: what are things you like and dislike rn in the space you’re in? Feel free to say what’s working and what’s not.
Are you a recruiter worried about a recession come 2023?
Scary idea right?
Let me give you something to consider.
Stop worrying about things that are out of your control.
Lets be honest anyway, you are probably very unqualified to be making market predictions.
You are a recruiter. You are not an economist.
You have no idea what the market is going to do.
And that’s ok. Because no one does. I certainly don’t.
Even the so-called best economists in the world are wrong a lot of the time.
Hi! I’m recruiting for a Sr IT director role at a logistics company and want to ensure the accurate rate of pay range is being offered. What do you use as a resource to find the market salary for such positions?
Interested in salary data for TA Managers. Eager to see full comp package not just base to ensure we are being as competitive as possible. Thanks!
Hello everyone! How difficult is it to start recruiting, and is it better to start at a staffing agency? I am trying to decide whether to continue as a staffing coordinator but at a new company with higher pay assisting recruiters on hires, or to move on into recruiting at a new company which I haven’t done before but have wanted to for the past 7 months being stuck at my current role…. HELP!!!!!
To all my recruiter networks- Has anyone done a sign on bonus that the payout was in increments? Please share that structure with me, I’m doing a 10k and curious to know what the payout increments should be without paying all upfront. Thank you in advance!
Getting ready to take the SHRM-CP exam. I’m certainly not the “traditional” person to take it, I’m 56, but I’m doing this for me…and for the hope of getting a new job without a micromanaging boss. Any hints? Tips? TY!!
Looking to Freelance as a Sr Level Recruiter. Any suggestions where these jobs are posted?
Hi y’all! I have been interested in HR and Recruitment since I finished graduating with my BA in Sociology. I have experience in different industries (Law Enforcement, Small Business Owner, and most recently Commercial Real Estate). Wondering how I can best pivot into the Recruitment space and find my dream job while helping others do the same. Any opportunities for no formal experience but transferable skills ?
I am looking for a position in Recruiting. I have 12 years of recruiting experience including biotech and financial recruiting.
What’s is your favorite CRM/Recruiting System that you have used in your career?
And if you have one, why? Thanks everyone!
How does HR/Comp at your companies feel about disclosing salary ranges to candidates? I know pretty much all of my peers feel it would make the candidate's experience better and our jobs easier, since no one would be wasting their time. I've heard some arguments in favor of not disclosing, and there is a certain degree of logic behind some of them, but I'm wondering what those arguments at your companies, and if it's something you feel is warranted or not.

What are everyone’s YOE and salary?
I really like recruiting, but at my current company compensation growth seems pretty limited. Trying to get a gauge on what’s actually attainable in this industry.
Currently interviewing for two sourcing roles at some promising start ups in which they are requiring me to do a sourcing/recruiting case study. Is there any resources someone could recommend? Would love to have a framework to go off of.
Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone! First time poster who is feeling a bit lost. I was with an RPO in the sourcing department, which has recently folded. I would love to stay RPO and ideally full cycle, but technically have only about 9 months exp, though I had years of high profile public relations and event planning experience before becoming a stay at home parent 10 years ago. Any recommendations for an RPO that would take a chance on someone like me? Mix of overqualified, but also very under qualified?
I'm am an inhouse recruiter in Chicago. 3 years recruiting experience. Is 70K salary with no bonus. Does this sound like a fair salary?
As I think about looking for a new job outside of recruitment, how do you reconcile leaving commission behind? I make 50k base but over 6 figs in commission within my first year, and I WFH. I’m still “early” career with only recruitment and admin work history, and it appears that any job I’d qualify for is realistically 45-70k.
*I’ll stay for the money, but I’m wondering if it’s worth it in face of the lack of management, their disciplinarian mindset, and the non-stop stress from it all.

Information isn’t awesome. Not getting much more out of it than my LIR account. If you’re choosing to skip LIR than it works.
Cleaner than HireEZ, but also…similar.
