I really want to work for a FAANGM firm as the pay is much better than my big 4 salary. How do I go about convincing that I would like to wfh from my tier 2 city?

I just started working in industry for 1st time a few weeks ago after yrs in public acctg. I went into industry that I’m not too familiar with though. So far, it’s been a challenge to absorb all the new information and supervise people who’ve been at this company for 5-20 years.
I feel overwhelmed and useless mostly so far, but People here are patient and willing to help me. Maybe i just put too much pressure on myself.

I work for a top 15 firm & CPA but did go to a non-target. It's a really small commuter college.

I haven't felt like its impacted me but I can tell you there are very few grads from my college that work at top ten firms. Some firms don't have a single grad from my college based on searching linkedin.

Would industry look at it?
