Does anyone have good curriculum for a Fed Level III program? I’ve been asked if I’d run my schools again but need resources!

I recived mail from Deloitte USI HR requesting my last 3 months pay slips and filled CTC data sheet and Aadhar, PAN. Does this mean i got through or selected ? I didn't recieve any formal communication whether i am selected or not.

What would you like your CD to do to help you with your craft (beyond feedback on your project work)? Obviously assume no training budget at this crazy time.

Getting married in the Caribbean end of February. Going absolutely nuts with the range of my RSVP emails. Young people “can’t wait, so excited!!!!”, old people “too afraid to travel”. If it were in January I’d prob postpone, but I kinda feel like end of Feb might be ok? And who’s to say if I move it there won’t be another variant. I interviewed with Infosys Consulting and their were 2 rounds. Post the same, I got a mail from HR stating that I have cleared those and asked me to share documents and fill one form with academic details and expectations.

It has been almost 40 days since I submitted those but HR hasn't called me. Gave them couple of polite reminders over email to which they reply everytime that they'll get back to me next week, however to no avail.

This fight has gotten real! I’ve been offered a job, advertised as remote, but they want to have a blended program with teachers on campus. Do you ever feel like you’re not allowed to vent about a bad day? I feel like we can’t just vent and chalk it up to a bad day and move on. If we are overheard saying anything than sunshine and rainbows you have to be scared of admin coming down on you - as far as written up for being unprofessional. Is it like this everywhere?!

Question: If SPED students are receiving their Resource Minutes AFTER the regular school hours from their peers (8:30-10:30) is that Legal? They are not being pulled from the general Ed classes, but participating in an extended day. Should minutes be calculated based on a normal school day or the 2 hours they are in class?

Is anyone else just feeling completely overwhelmed and ready to quit? Administration keeps throwing more paperwork and responsibilities on us and I dont know how much more I can do. I've cried every day for the last three weeks trying to do right by my students and meet all of the new distance learning admin stuff.

I have been teaching students with special needs for 21 years now. The class size used to be 12:1. Now it’s 15:1, but you can have up to 18 students with the variance. Now my Principal said that you can have up to 19 students!!!! Is anyone else noticing that the self contained class is getting larger?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows of or has curriculum for students in a Study Skills class?

I have been given three sections of Study Skills with 15-20 students in each.
I have always taught SDC, but this year my district said that we can do that now. When I got my credential I was not allowed to teach Resource classes unless I took classes and received the Resource Certificate. Does anyone know if this is legal?

Hi. I am a Transition teacher in California. I would like to know what is the ratio of students to staff for community outings in your districts? I have been teaching in my district for 20+ years and it has always been 4:1 ratio for our moderate/severe transition classes. Now our director is saying it's 6:1 and I don't feel like this is safe for our students.

Hi this year my school went to full inclusion therfore my mild moderate self contained class was dissolved as my students were pushed into general ed classes. I am now called an inclusion teacher. Anyone else experience this? If so what are your thoughts? Thanks!

There’s nothing like waking up to a call on August 1 from my district coordinator telling me that they want to move me from my middle school resource room SpEd position (which I love) to K-5 Setting 3 SpEd position. I told her all the reasons that won’t work for me and even gave her another idea that would require a non-licensed teacher to be moved so I could take her place at the hs. So, I’ll be spending my Monday applying for a new job in another district. How’s your Monday going so far? 😭😔

How would you go about assisting a 6th grader with a second grade reading level? I’ve been asked this question by a secretary and told that needing more background information is unnecessary. How would you assist this 6th grade student with limited information given?

What are some strategies that can be implemented with a 4th grade student who’s on a 1.4-2.4reading level, according to the STAR test. This student just transferred in and he is very well spoken, has a large vocabulary(uses words that typical 4th grade students may not), and has a great creative imagination. His goals include reading fluency and written expression. He cannot spell nor read basic sight words without help. Sometimes, it seems as if he is waiting for me to read before he tries.

I use to enjoy pulling together lessons using a variety of resources, and not using textbooks or ready made curriculum. I just used the standards. These days, I’m finding that my online students find a set curriculum easier to navigate. I’m finding it easier to keep organized online. Anyone else having a similar experience?
