What is considered “pre-sales” work?
Morning :-) Just received an email from recruiter to say I have cleared the Microsoft consulting services (MCS) interview and they are working on internal approvals to release the offer (Cloud solution architect). I am obviously thrilled but reading online boards about MCS is a bit disconcerting - constant restructures, culture very dependent on ‘if your face fits, else’, questionable WLB, etc. Anyone from Microsoft or MCS UK on here (or worked with them in the past) have a view please? Cloud solutions architect question for anyone involved in this.
Does it matter which cloud service provider you choose to learn and grow as a solutions architect? From a foreigner’s standpoint, one would think the skill set required for cloud solution design and migration work which is what a solutions architect
Does, should be the same across different cloud services (Oracle SAP AWS Azure, etc). Like if you learn one, it’s easy to jump to another. Lmk if this understanding is wrong.
To add onto what A1 said, your YOE will help too. Because without that I can tell you it's between 100-350k
