IMO, this "what we learned" page is complete garbage! (1) Many of us are pro vaccines, but I don't see posts begging their companies to mandate them [tho I DO see many - negotiating comp, salary bump etc. posts] (2) Remote work is NOT the reason people are leaving the industry. As consultants, we BENEFIT substantially with WFH (KPMG, take notes from PwC) (3) Overall, WLB has gotten BETTER with WFH allowances. We actually get to live at home & spend time with our families #AFatGlassdoorBias

Is this inappropriate? I am part of a HR management team and there is a rumor about the other HR manager having relations with our GM. She sent out a mass text message to the company stating that these rumors need to stop and note that malicious gossip will not be tolerated moving
forward. Someone that is purposefully sharing false information will be considered as harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and/or defamation will be termed. I feel as if this is highly inappropriate, thoughts?

Interested to see some perspectives - currently working at a Payroll & Benefits Specialist at a fast growing company and recently passed my PHR! I just started this role only a few months ago but am already feeling like I can take on more, but not as much as a HR manager. I’m struggling to understand where exactly it is I can go from here. I’m 25, have 3 years of experience, and get paid $59k/year.
Where does one go from here? Thanks in advance for any and all answers!
There’s one type of behaviour in the recruitment community that completely baffles me - recruiters or headhunters messaging you out of the blue, asking for a call and the completely disappearing (and even ghosting you) when you answer them. I’m wondering if they care at all about their personal and company reputation? Not helping the HR community reputation either.
I am a TA leader and report into HR. There is an internal opportunity reporting into another group that would be an excellent growth opportunity for me, directly reporting into TA. My supervisor and I do not have the best relationship and believe our personalities clash. I need to tell my supervisor I am interested in exploring this opportunity, but I am nervous of retaliation and manipulative tactics as I have seen in the past. Any advice for broaching this conversation?
Started a new job, in a new field, a little more than 2 months ago. Company is quite transparent about internal opportunities and moving within/career development. I’ve enjoyed the job I’m doing but just found out of newly created role in the company that would be my dream. Do I even consider this opportunity or just keep doing the job I was hired for? How would you approach the conversation with your boss?

Following up from my last post about remote being possible for our profession. Do we as HR professionals have concerns that going remote will also increase outsourcing of the remote roles to more call center environments/PEO/etc.
I’ve noticed everyone wants remote don’t get me wrong sounds good, I’m more Hybrid, but the reality seems a bit uncertain as we know the use of AI is growing and remote work may mean outsourcing in the future.

My company did away with the mask mandate months ago, but my manager is adamant that everyone on our team continue wearing them when we're in the office (which is 3+ days a week for most of us). I love my job and my team, and I generally like my boss, but I can't stand having to be masked up. Is there anything I can do or am I at the mercy of her random rules?

I have been working in Talent Acquisition for going on 2 yrs. I was a recruiter then a talent acquisition coordinator. I really didn't like recruiting, felt like a sales person this was totally not my vibe. I'm loving working as a coordinator its definitely for me but I'm just not sure how to move to the next level or what that next level looks like. I am interested in learning/working in employee relations or as a generalist. Any advice on how to move up or what roles I should be looking for.
