Does anyone have insight into the truck market? I read that truck prices are inflated due to Covid (more people doing DIY, hauling campers etc) but didn’t know if that was credible. I’m thinking about getting one soon but not sure if there are any market factors I should consider.

We went to a wedding and husband was not wearing a mask at the airport and in public places . He gets Covid and we find out several of the guests also got Covid . No way of knowing who was patient zero. We have a toddler who has symptoms (tested negative) but now can’t go to daycare and I’m also not feeling well but still negative. I’m angry with my spouse since even when he was sick he didn’t mask at home and refuses to isolate in his room (would eat in the living room).

Fellow asian fishes in NYC, have you noticed or experienced covid related hate crimes and discriminations since the outbreak? I've been mainly staying within my area in LIC but two close friends recently were physically abused in the city and called "coronavirus". I am interested in moving to another state and realized that this state has one of the most restrictive reciprocity rules in the country. I've passed multiple bar exams. However, I won't get any credit for time I worked in CA because CA isn't reciprocal. I swore I'd never take another bar after taking CA - and now I have to take another exam if we move. I worked in big law in CA for two years and get no credit! Yet the exam has been waived for new grads for COVID. It sure limits our move.

Going to be in the market soon for a new car (sedan) to replace my old warhorse (2006 Camry). Considering a Lexus ES (both new and very lightly used - less than 10k miles) and Tesla 3 (only new, both in the same range depending on trim and options chosen). Primary factors are:
1- Reliability ; 2- Total Cost of Ownership; 3- Smooth and luxurious ride . Plan to keep car for 15+ years. Any recommendations on one vs the other? Or any other option I may have missed in this price range?
