I got through all the rounds of interviews (including 2 technical panels) at CrowdStrike before being assured that I was nearing the end of the process and was expected to receive an offer soon… almost two weeks ago now? Anyone else experienced this kind of delay from CS or similarly sized organizations? Did I get ghosted? Anything more I should be doing?

I’d say get diagnosed and (if comfortable) share that info with bosses, teammates, clients to ensure they are more understanding. Had this happen with a consultant and the client and SM always assumed he was just actually sleeping...
I did meet a manager the other day crushing a monster energy at 10am...and he mentioned he has a mild case and would load up on caffeine. Seemed maybe not the healthiest and self prescribed approach, but it was working...
Hi OP - my boyfriend has narcolepsy and he was diagnosed in college - only after his diagnosis he was able to receive medication to help him sleep (xyrem) so he stopped falling a sleep. It can be dangerous continuing life this way - theres also cataplexy, etc. DM me if you need to chat.
Yeah i haven’t experienced cataplexy yet
I have it, fully diagnosed, medicated. DM me if you want to discuss.
I'm not on xyrem. GHB is not a medication I want in my medicine cabinet. Their are alternatives that aren't used as date rape drugs.
Falling asleep in a team mtg happened to my BF. He was tested and had sleep apnea. Ever since he's been on a CPAP machine, problem solved. Sign up for a sleep study, and they'll know if you have sleep apnea by the time you awaken. Good Luck!
I have the same symptoms (can’t drive >30min, fall asleep everywhere, once fell asleep standing up during a convo) and went through a sleep study. Was actually diagnosed with excessive daytime sleepiness, and I was offered adderall. I ended up not taking the prescription, and have managed to train myself to get better with time.
That being said, I think there’s a lot of value to putting a name to what you have (if only for personal understanding). Whether you take the meds is a personal choice.
I don’t have narcolepsy. But I believe there are treatment options, such as adderall. I would definitely get a diagnosis so you can explore.
This may sounds selfish but... I hope you don’t drive longer than 30 minutes anymore.
I have it. Diagnosed almost 10 years ago. Have tried it all in terms of meds. Definitely recommend seeing a doctor because those symptoms don’t always equal narcolepsy. You may have another condition.
Whether narcolepsy or something else, you do not need to tell coworkers / managers. Work with HR for ADA accommodations. Message me if you have questions!
