I really want to move out of my parents place for social reasons etc. I still hangout with friends a lot but it’s just a hassle having to drive a hour or so to kick it with them. So my dilemma is I enjoy saving $ on rent (yes I know can’t have both) but the main reason for me moving back home is so that I can save and buy a house. On the flip side with how expensive houses are right now it’s hard to even buy. I’m in CA btw SoCal. If anyone has any suggestion of places to live for a 26 YO TIA!

Currently debating if I should pay off zero interest debt or put the money in index funds instead? The debt is only zero interest for about 10 months or so. My concern is that the stock market might crash when it is time for me to pay it off because people say we are in a bubble right now. Should I just pay the zero interest debt first?
