Do you all think your compensation matches your counterparts that are on the same level and experience as you?
I am working with a senior person who doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing. He’s 10/10 incompetent, new to consulting, and is a total mess in front of clients. It’s embarrassing. What should I do?
I've been working for a commercial construction outfit for the last 11yrs. Nine months ago I was promoted to a foreman position. The company has recently posted a PM position available. I immediately shot a text to the owner stating that I was interested in the position and that I would be sending over my letter of intent. His response was that he was hoping that I was interested in the position. It's a salary position. How do I go about negotiating a salary/benefits package with no experience?
I am a junior UX/product designer with a background in business. I was wondering does anyone have any general advice for someone trying to get their first design role especially as a person of color? Also, do you feel that junior designers should take any design job they get just to get in the door?
Anyone from the Dallas office? Can you share some insight on the culture? I am speaking particularly to the Audit side, but anyone can chime in.
