Have you had to gate check it ever? Sometimes I travel on the 2x2 planes (1x2 in first) and worried it might not fit!

helpful

Love it, def have to gate check on regional jets CRJ700’s, but then again you have to check pretty much any bag on those. I’ve had one flight where it almost didn’t fit. Brussels Airlines, don’t remember the plane model.

With the ejectable battery, I wonder if its a better deal than the travelpro or the samsonites.. albeit for a 70-80 $ premium

like

@EY2 oooooh bummer @OP: I have the large for long trips and I love it. Definitely buying a bigger carry on ASAP. If you’re worried about size tho, you could do the carry on and use packing cubes to maximize space in the smaller bag! I know they sell some but I have ones from eagle creek that I love

I have it. Fits nicely. Really enjoy it so far. Replaced a leather tumi.

I haven’t ever had to. This includes 2x2 jets to Canada

Yeah I have had to gate check on little puddle jumper flights and absolutely is a nightmare on international flights. But overall I really do like it.

I have it and love it! I have the smaller one though.

Use code LGA for a discount.

I have not had to check mine in any regional flights yet. Make sure you’re has an ejectable battery. I’m coming up on my 100 days and am going to send mine back if they don’t offer a retrofit. I just love my color, so I can’t do a straight swap since it was limited edition.

^^clearly long day - typos 😬

@EY2: check their Instagram/website- they are offering a free retrofit due to the battery issue

@K1- you have to get on a waiting list for when they figure it out. I signed up but I don’t think it’s a certainty. I will look again though.

Really want the bigger one but concerned about size so thinking I’m going to play it safe and go with the smaller one (planning on traveling thru Europe for a month or so - packing verrryyyy lightly!)
