Any one who sells you information on stock picks is going to be garbage.
If I knew great stock picks, I wouldn't be telling anyone. I would be buying it myself. With all my money.
If I was consistently good at picking stocks I would start my own ETF not a newsletter.

That's not how the stock market works. You don't have to tell anyone for the stock prices to rise. Public companies have to disclose financials quarterly to everyone.

Hi All,
Really need some input. We have our new construction done by April 2023. Builder is giving us 28,000 credits which can be used towards closing cost and buy lock rate for 6 months from now and giving us the interest rate for 6.75% for 30 years from US bank. But I also spoke to credit union they give us 5 ARM for 5.5% but can lock rate in feb 2023. So should go with the US bank with 6.75% plus incentives or wait till feb 2023 and thn lock rates(us bank doesn’t give us ARM rates).

I’m so done with sales. I’m burnt out and uninspired with my job. The pay is nice, but I need something more fulfilling and less stressful. I want to be able to keep working while I figure out my “why” but I don’t want to rip my hair out in the process. *7 YOE, 6 mid market, 1 enterprise* Any ideas for an easy transition job away from sales that isn’t a giant pay cut?

This is just pathetic from organization. They are just firing people owing to failing a test of certification, for which other company gives 3 trials but they are giving only one try with negative markings

Recent grad, recently maxxed out my Roth IRA. My employer matches first $2,000 100% for 401K and 50% match on the next $1,000. Recently hit that $3,000, my company offers a super Roth strategy (mega backdoor Roth), with the ability to automatically convert each contribution to said Roth. Any suggestions would be much appreciated on whether I should begin with this strategy, or max out the unmatched portion of my 401K first? (Ideally I’d hope to do both) Thanks?

Does anyone have one of those Infograph’s that show how to optimally allocate your savings? Something like 401k match > HSA > Roth etc (example, I’m not actually sure what the steps are).

I’m 23 and my assets include $49K cash, $15K in ROTH IRA (will max for CY) and $5K in 401K (20% contrib). Liab is $9K for car loan. No HSA option since I’ll be staying on parents insurance until 26 yrs old. What should I do with my cash on hand and any “extra” cash from my paychecks? Goal to buy either personal or investment property in 3-5 yrs to support my family. How do people reach hundreds of thousand by early 30s? The concept seems like a stretch to me.

I'm switching jobs and considering whether I want to roll over my 401(k). I have about $220k in my plan. Considering rolling it into an existing Fidelity IRA with a balance of about $50k. Since October of 2020, I've paid about $880 in "plan administrative fees" to my 401(k) provider as well as the fund expense ratios.

It looks like Fidelity does not charge administrative fees on IRA accounts, so that seems to make it a no brainer, plus the investment options are much broader. What am I missing?
