"post_content": "Does anyone here do really well in presentations or formal public speaking (even impromptu) but fall flat in small tall? I swear I would be calm while being interrogated in a congressional hearing but put me in a 1:1 or other minor conversation and I bomb almost every time.",

I’m fairly bad at both 🤪 but better at small talk
It’s me! I literally say the dumbest things during small talk, but can compose myself for presentations. I like to think it’s part of my charm now 🥲
Maybe I should just accept it. I like that, “my charm.”
I get like this. I think it’s because briefing/presenting relies on you driving the conversation and relating a specific idea or answer in your own words with your own knowledge while small talk is a 2-way, you need your own input, but have to take j to consideration the other half and utilize a different type of social awareness
