I use Gympass in a major metro and I like it a lot. I have the platinum level and it allows me to go to any equinox at a discount but their studio options are good, too.
Yeah I live in NYC so it looks like there are a ton of studio and gym options! I read some reviews online that people had issues when trying to use it at Equinox and some other places, but maybe those were just one offs.
It’s decently good value, but that’ll be dependent on how much your employer subsidizes it. My rates have increased a few times while I’ve been on it (not sure how common this is though). Lifetime Fitness moved up from the $25 tier to $50. Now, PwC seems to be subsidizing less and it’ll move up to $80 next month. Granted the normal price is $130, so I’m still saving some money. However, not as great as it previously was.
It’s brilliant - so cost effective in nyc.
I was surprised by how easy it works. Sometimes if you travel you need to arrive at the hours when a manager is there but that was super rare.
