I work at a startup which has grown very quickly, and we're having a diversity problem, as all our staff members have come through connections, and are largely white men. Now that we're opening positions to the public, how can we demonstrate that we want to prioritize inclusion if our team is so overwhelmingly white and male? I'm worried we won't attract the right candidates.

Case load= malpractice? Small plaintiff’s firm of 25 attorneys. I was a 2 year associate hired and given 50 active files in pre litigation status. 9 mos later a partner quit and I inherited 45 more. I got up to 105 files. Now I hover at 85 active files in varying stages of pre lit. I asked managing partner for help and was told to settle more claims to lessen my load. Is this what people consider negative work culture?

Newer partner here: I’ve seen the posts on being fed up with culture/boys club and I’m also, so over it. I’ve got a lot of time ahead of me, how do you work through these situations and be successful? I feel like when I bring these behaviors up, it is received as “victim” complaining, which is not my intention, trying to call out the bias and create equity and accountability. Already exhausted and finding it hard to mentor other young professions through these situations. Advice, please!!

But I still haven't received any updates on the next steps.
