Hi, I work at a regional accounting firm with about 13 offices. I’m coming up on my 1 year anniversary and annual reviews. What’s a fair salary increase range? I found out an intern was offered $2000 more than me, granted, she’s worked 2 tax seasons with them before being hired on. More info about my situation, this is an entry position at the firm and I’m still working on obtaining my CPA. My partner had an interview where a full naked body (either from a roommate or s/o?) was exposed on the interviewers side of their Zoom background. No apology or acknowledgement towards the situation was ever expressed during/after the interview. She decided to bring it up to HR and they completely brushed it off as well. She is emotionally scarred and in such a slump by the situation and job search in general. Is this normal agency behavior, especially from HR?! So grossed out by the response.
