My brother is in his final semester and looking for an internship role before he transfers to university for his bachelor's in business. Just a Wednesday rant: I turned 40 yesterday and realized I've wasted the prime of my life in consulting. I neglected fam, friends and my own emotional & spiritual needs owing to the adrenaline and stress of this space, and corporate tech in North America in general. The realization hit me like a ton of bricks. I'm going to exit to something super low-key so I can finally start making some memories. Rant over. Thank you for reading.

I am proposing to leadership that our open requisitions have fully vaccinated requirements for all roles, so that we are hiring vaccinated people into the firm. Is this fair or would it affect talent acquisition negatively?

This is the first time I’ve ever taken time off and felt bad. There’s nothing wrong urgent or significant going on at my client that isn’t already being handled, not sure why I feel this way. Started day drinking and it seems to be helping but figured I just come and vent.
