I do not have form16, form26AS and salary slips for a job I did in a startup in 2016-17 which KGS has asked for in background verification process. Although I have submitted experience letter, relieving letter and offer letter for the same I'm not sure what will happen next. Can they roll back the offer letter? I'm not sure what will happen next, can anyone help me?

How many of you use AFA and what types have you found useful?

I'm a solo bringing in Associate to become partner. Associate has been compensated with a base salary, plus 1/3 of earnings for business he brings in. Firm expenses are around 55-60% of gross revenue. He brings in around 30% of revenue. How best can I bring him in, and at what percentage to be fair? Was thinking 20%, with 5% incremental increases as his business grows hopefully to greater than 30% of total revenue. Thoughts?

I see a lot of opportunities to do contract reviews or other corporate matters in states I’m not barred in. I don’t typically take those matters, but I’m curious what those rules are. I’ve definitely seen large firms handle out of state contracts and acquisitions all the time and I actually know other attorneys who do it too. I just haven’t gotten comfortable with that.
