I’m at Sidley. Got a discount but pay 300 a month. That’s the discounted rate for all access to every gym nationwide. I think it’s usually 350

I don’t know what they are right now. They change all the time. You should just call them and ask what they’re offering now.

I pay 260 or so

I think you might be able to get them down to $250/month for NYC at least. That’s what I had at my biglaw firm and they recently emailed me saying I could come back at that rate even if I didn’t work there anymore.

Hi all! Me (nyc based) & a friend (nutritionist in india) are starting a service that provides customized 1:1 meal plans (including holistic ways to manage chronic conditions)

We’re doing a 2 month pilot, pricing it at cost ($25/ mo)- and it would include-
- 1 hr group session on better understanding your chronic conditions (if any)
- Weekly meal plan with your customizations (allergies, preferences)
- weekly 1:1 accountability check and reflection on what worked

Let me know if of interest!!

When do partners decide when an associate is good enough to make partner? I’m a senior and it is extremely clear to me when an associate has it or doesn’t, and moreover it doesn’t take eight years to figure it out; it takes just one or two matters for me to know if they’re adding value or are ultimately just a commodity. It’s hard for me to avoid the conclusion that associates are largely being strung along by partners who are going to can them at some point, long after that decision is made.

Manhattan Law Firms Eye Wall Street’s Lead on Office Returns

As Wall Street banks and the law firms that advise them push to get employees back to the office, lawyers at most large New York firms are expected to hit targets of three days per week.
Hybrid schedules, with office work taking place Tuesday through Thursday, is a popular format at many firms. For law firm leaders, a major factor in RTO decisionmaking has been the need to develop junior lawyers who’ve worked..
