McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Hiiii! I’ve been at my job for a year and a couple of months now & I’ve gotten rather bored because the work is repetitive, not challenging, and hasn’t really allowed me to learn or grow as much as I would’ve liked to. Given how I’m still paying a ton of money for my postgrad in Business Comms (that I haven’t really gotten the chance to use), I’ve been thinking of entering the world of consulting. Any word of advice? PwC McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group KPMG

Probably flex to any other major office. I interviewed for a mid level role and was given a choice.
I didn't get the job so I don't know how valuable my advice would be 😂
But I found it helpful to write out all my answers to the questions that the recruiter gave me. Then read it over and over to sorta half memorize everything. Keep it open in a separate window but try not to obviously read it verbatim. Make sure your camera is at a good angle and that you're well lit. Arrange the windows so that you're making eye contact. Role play it with friends, not the same friend playing all 3 interviewers, get at least 3 friends. Solicit feedback.
Answer with anecdotes but tailor your presentation style to the person you're speaking to. Example - If someone is energetic, plus up your energy but don't make it feel fake or forced.
Make sure your interview space is quiet and free of distraction.
Have water at the ready.
Make sure you're asking questions that, after they answer, you can follow up with something about your experience and how you can help. Keep in mind that all of these folks are BURIED in work, they are always looking for someone who is HELPFUL.
Good luck and if you get the job, that will be $5000 please.
