Does anyone know how to get the PulseCash from “Get connected with your CC/RL” on Virgin Pulse? I added them on my friend list but how do I claim it?

You have to do it on the computers you click on it in the earn points thing, then enter their names and check a box and voila

Connect as in u met with them in person and you have to click the link to fill out the date u met with them. You should automatically get the money added to ur balance

Yeah you have to meet with them and have a career discussion, it’s not just adding them as friends

I wanted to spread a little positivity this Friday afternoon. I just started a new job after casually interviewing for several months at the start of the year to do a little research on the marketing job market, and then seriously interviewing/searching since May. After coming close with several other jobs but something always going wrong (low ball pay, role put on hold, etc.) I finally got THE job. I’m excited about it, I’m paid well, and fully remote. So don’t settle, and don’t give up! ✨

Looking at fee increases for 2021 tax compliance and probably going for 10% increase with most clients to account for increases to wage levels this year. I’m expecting to negotiate down to 5-8% on some clients. With producer price index at 8.6% I’m hoping to successfully sell clients on the reality of higher fees. Those that want to fire me over fees I feel ok losing clients with decreasing profitability that can be replaced within a year. What kind of increase are you pursuing?

Hello All,

Hope you are doing well.
I require your suggestions on the below.

Currently, I'm an ETL Developer having skills in DataStage tool, Autosys Schedule tool, Unix, Linux, Oracle & Teradata SQL, shell scripting, C++, Data Structures with 3 YOE, and now I'm planning to switch to a Data Engineer role within next 2 months but I'm confused about how to start and which courses should I be taking up.

Help is highly appreciated, looking forward to your response and if any openings.

Partners or whomever can help me understand about billing and hours. To keep things simple, let’s say you only have one staff to work 1,700 billable hours a year on a $60k salary and you have only one job that and the rate charged to the client is $300/hour and an projected hours budget of 1,700 hours. So ideally you would have revenue of $510k. If the staff takes less time partners make less money and if they take more time partners make more money while the staff keeps the same salary?

Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.
