Does anyone know how to go from being a B4 corporate tax accountant, to eventually starting your own small tax practice?

I have 5 years in insurance sales experience, how can I break into tech industry through customer Success?

I know we are living in the COVID Era and things may be different but as a self-taught designer that’s been employed for the last 8 years here in the city, I’d like to be able to make myself attractive to the advertising world.

I usually operate on the fringes of the design community and I don’t know all the cool kids (outside of interning at 3st).

What can I do besides have a great portfolio?

anyone pivot from a creative strat gig at a branded content studio to a strat role at an agency?

What do exit opps look like for a role in M&A Strategy that focuses primarily on CDD and ODD? Combination of PE and strategic buyer clients, although leaning with heading down more the PE route while I’m here.

Are there companies in the industry that will pay for employees to get their P&C or CPCU? Or even allow for hours during the work day to be designated towards them?

In other industries exiting after a few months for a diff opp is a faux pas. Is that the same when jumping from in-house to in-house? Having difficulties getting along with my new boss and thinking of jumping ship. Ofc I will try my best to make it work but curious what the consensus is.

I received a proposal for a Senior Analog Designer role from Bosch in the same city where I am currently working.
Should I wait and build up a few more years of experience before accepting a Senior role or should I jump in and work to fill the gap?
Next year, there will be an important deadline for the project I'm working on and my resignation could be critical for the team, how would you deal with it?

McKinsey internal offer. Am level before partner at small boutique firm. Work in tiny but hot area (non-strategy). No desire to make partner as I don’t enjoy selling. Fewer YOE than most at my level. Exp mostly at small companies except for a B4/ACN. No MBA, masters from an Ivy but a less competitive program. Offer is similar to other industry offers in the past but haven’t looked recently. Current TC is on the high end in consulting but have had similar offers.

Anyone “boomerang” back to B4 into a different group and regret it? I was in audit and I’m now considering an advisory role. A recruiter told me it would look bad on my resume, which makes zero sense to me.

My wife has two offer ,already confused and doesn't want to apply for any other opening now.

TCS- 20LPA ( 15.8 Fixed+ 80k retention bonus after each successful year of completion+ 3.4 L monthly and quarter variable pay)

Wanted to understand what is the minimum experience for being a c2 at cg?
I have close to 9 years (8.8 )years of experience so what should be the designation to demand or what can they provide? And how and what are the roles and responsibilities of c2 level! I saw here someone getting a manager designation at 7 year of experience at much less package hence asking.

I gave a salary range to a couple recruiters for digital consulting positions and am not sure if it was relatively close to market value or not. Would you think this (admittedly wide) range is high, low, or reasonable? Any advice is appreciated!

- Both roles are for boutique digital consulting firms in Chicago
- Consultant 1 positions requiring 3-5 years experience
- My range: $100k-$120k base
- I have 4 yrs experience, 2 of which in a BA/Product owner role (non b4 accounting firm)

After 6 years of temporary contracts and unstable situations, I find my dream job in my dream company. All of a sudden the world goes upside down and I get laid off. I sent from my work email a follow-up email to two people at another firm who I interviewed with. I sent from my iPhone and for some reason iPhone auto populated my work email instead of personal (even though I had previously only used personal to communicate with the other firm). I immediately realized the mistake (after double checking the sent box of personal and then the sent box of work email), and “recalled” and double deleted the message in outlook.
