Does anyone know if all FAANG companies do background checks for previous employers?

I am working in Deloitte PMO Analyst with cumulative work ex 2.5 years. I want to move to Program Management in FAANG. But for all the posts I see work ex is more than 3 years with an MBA. So, Should I go for an MBA first or should I apply for the same roles. I am mainly aiming Amazon.

People who are long FAANG, do any of the government lawsuits coming worry you(antitrust/monopoly, content, etc) as a long term shareholder? I figure most of these tech companies may get a slap on the wrist but understand the risks. Heck, most of these senators are invested in these companies and are they really going to break up companies like Amazon & Facebook? Seems like they would establish an extremely dangerous precedent

I have an eating disorder, and with how I am doing now my treatment team is urging me to go to residential treatment, where no electronics are allowed.
