Anyone starting on 1/31?
I was just offered a CUNY role. The title is Higher Education Assistant. According to Glassdoor, the average annual pay for that role is $83,418. However, I was offered $62,500. I requested for the minimum annual salary to be 75k. Does anyone have experience navigating the CUNY system and their pay?

Look at all these new consultants making $150k. Wages are certainly increasing. However, as a homegrown, you won’t see your wages rise as much. You have to switch jobs
Facts! Seeing people with 2 yoe making more than people with 10+ years of experience makes no sense to me 😳

Well raises go in effect on 5/27 and will be seen in 6/10 paychecks. That’s why yours hasn’t budged. Also 0% chance there will ever be CPI tied raises.

I wish but as some hopium they keep saying the “biggest” pool ever. I would hope at a minimum my AIP/bonus is more than 8% hahaha
KPMG had raises
I would ask your recruiter
At least wait until raises come out next week before you complain about your salary not changing
Well I'm not complaining more just curious if they'll take it into account
If you think annual raises are tied to inflation, prepare to be disappointed. That's not how it works.
It's not even a reasonable consideration.

Sure. Or it’ll balance out. The line can’t always be going up all the time. It’s not sustainable.
Deloitte just had the raise right? I want to renegotiate my offer lol
Yeah but that was before inflation skyrocketed haha
EY didn’t get a raise since last august

No.
