Does anyone know if the pool on Roosevelt Island (Manhattan park pool) has a place to buy food/drinks? Or you have to bring your own?

Have restaurants doubled the cost of drinks since last summer? Like, a glass of sangria - $9+, a glass of cheap wine - $17+, a cocktail - $19+? Are people actually willing to pay this much?

Hello guys, I have got an offer on contract basis for Qatar location from one of the MNCs in Pune. I am a software professional with around 7.3 years of IT experience. But they will be offering me Max 14k Qatari riyal per month. So, will it worth going there if i have to manage accomodation,food and transport on my own. Please can suggest me something about it, it's a contract based offer for 6 months extendable. Will it be a good idea to go to Qatar with this much of salary? Thanks in advance!

I am thinking of buying a used Maserati (3-4 years old, low mileage and if possible as good deal) and use it for 3 years, put 15 k miles on it and sell it off. The cars available are for $35-40k (Ghibli). Questions for the group
