More like director pay not M

What part of the firm?

Consulting, sorry

D1

What are the differences in pay in Consulting? Is there a hierarchy (highest paying Op Units vs. lowest)?

Thanks, still new here.

Hello! I’m moving to the UK soon from the USA and will be working at Deloitte. Per my contract, I will be working 35 hours per week. How realistic is that though? I’m in the advisory practice. In the US, we are booked for 45hrs per week, but I would usually work closer to 55hrs and sometimes more during busy season. TIA

Moving to NYC from Canada and was hoping to sign a lease prior to arrival (I have friends that can view for me). How feasible is this? I’m assuming this happens a lot, but I’m sure landlords or building management would be skeptical if they haven’t had the chance to meet me. I just want to do everything as quick and efficiently as possible. I’ll also be shipping everything so I need to inform the moving company of a new address.

Found out that I was on the lower end of my band, so went out and got an offer that is 25% more than what I make now, current employer has come back with a bump of 16% now + the promise of a regular increment during annual review cycle. Is it worth considering this (just over a year at the current firm)
