I saw the Vera Institute has openings. You can also look at Common Justice and Center for Court Innovation.

Not really social justice, but public service related: sometimes judges take on interns who are college students. It would be a great way for you to learn more about how the court system works, which will also look good for law school apps/future applications with social justice internships once you’re in law school. I’m a judicial law clerk in north NJ and almost every judge I’ve met is open to having interns.

The ACLU always needs volunteers

Hey all, first time poster here and still consider myself fairly new to consulting so please be kind. Questions for past/ current Accenture folks: I noticed in some threads that SC level only applies to strategy consulting. Could Product Manager be SC level if I have my MBA or is it not even considered a Strategy role? And do they only consider you an “MBA hire” if it’s top tier MBA? Lastly, I’ve seen quite a big salary range for MBA hires. Anyone care to share the latest? TIA.

My firm has a collections budget (80% of your billable rate x 1850 hours) and an hourly budget that must be met in order to be eligible for a bonus. The firm cares very little about originations and will reward someone for making their collections over someone who brings in new work. I missed my collection budget due to some odd timing with a client, but originated more than all my peers so no bonus for me. I’ve been at this same mid level firm for 9 years and it’s all I know. Is this normal??

So stuck. What do I do? I joined this firm a year ago (4 yrs exp total) to grow/get more court/client exposure. Then 2 more-experienced associates were hired, pandemic, & all cases are divided between the other 2. I have no defined tasks except deficiency letters or the odd pro bono case. Boss claims it's mentoring. I still need to meet bill req.

Last wk Boss said I'll do more & my work was good, but today said I can't 2nd chair bc I don't have experience. I'm doing less now than my prior firm.
