I am offered a role at Infosys. Associate consultant is the profile. It's a techno functional role. CTC offered is 10.3. I am not from a tech background. I have an MBA from tier 3. Total YOE 4.9 years. Is this a good pay for the experience and background?

I have been working with EY for around 1 year now. My current package is 3.6 LPA which i feel like very much under paid as i joined after completing Mcom. I got onboarded as a staff 1. My current salary is within my new cities range, and I am definitely not paid market rate to begin with…also for context I have always been a high performer, have many relevant certifications, and am involved with initiatives outside my billable work

I’m not interested in accepting a decrease this large. What happens if you don’t accept it? Do you see if they come back with something more reasonable or will they fire you?
