Does anyone know what’s going on with IPG agencies?

I'm with IPG and all I've heard so far is from my own agency: wage freeze, promotion freeze, hiring freeze, award submission freeze. Hoping Micheal Roth forgoes his $17MM salary before they start deeper cuts.

He makes twice that in bonuses and hidden perks

Was about to get an offer and they put it on hold. So definitely a hiring freeze. Said they’d re-evaluate in a month or so. My guess it’ll be longer but that’s ok.

Micheal Roth cutting that $17MM is probably a last resort move.

People accepted counter offer and got higher pay and raise again. Should I also do this? Is it ethical? I’m in tax NYC office.

Any advice on skills that can help you become a better candidate than other applicants? I work in Operations and would like to get to the sales/client side of finance.

I feel like I wasted a morning. I’m pregnant, can’t focus on work, can’t take my adhd meds, in a new position with no support, and I’m nauseated all the time. I don’t know how to prioritize my work like I have in the past. Has anyone else been in this situation? Any tips?

I'm an SA st pwc (but I'm finding work to be boring and exhausting) just got an offer as a senior consultant with a much smaller consulting firm (~30 FTs).. Just a bit higher pay but more vacation time and some extra perks. I'm moving from PwC for better work life balance and enjoyable/more visible work opportunities. now that I have the offer though I feel hesitant to be making a lateral move to something much smaller and not a known name. What are some things I should be taking into consideration?

Praying the chances of it getting an offer after an on-site interview are high. So done with public accounting

At a new company (industry) and they’re telling employees they have two tracks for returning to the office. 1) return to the office with only 1 remote day 2) ask for a adjusted schedule or to be fully remote. Ideally, I’d like to work remote 2 days. But I’m kinda young with no kids (M 26) how would I justify two remote days to my new boss?

I finally got a job and am very excited..but wanted to understand: Is 20 day PTO and 10 day holiday good? I had grand ideas of getting unlimited pto and working remotely and feel I can’t do this with 20 days The pay is good-ish and I am trying to negotiate on that. Can I negotiate on holidays, or anything else?

Hello I just started my first job (I’m 22) and I need to set up a 401k for matching with my company. I’m really confused how this works because I want to try to hit the IRS maximum of $19,500 for Roth contributions this year. Maybe it’s too late in the year now, but it’s asking me to pick my desired contribution % per pay period, but I’m not sure how much to do because it says it’ll kick in 1-2 pay cycles and I don’t even know when the next pay check comes yet. Any tips would be great

Hello Fishes, there are few questions hitting to my mind about PWC AC, can you please help me clear this. 1. Benefits included and when does my eligibility start at PWC 2. Other perks(telecommuting perks and stock options) at PWC 3. vacation time and sick leave at PWC 4. Bonus compensation (Yearly / Mid year Bonus, Joining Bonus) Thanks!!

Plan to go to B-school in 3 years (1 year out of UG now). Long term goal is entrepreneurship. Have offers at a MBB firm for a generalist consultant role and at FAANG for a strategy role. FAANG offer is slightly higher (though both are a 50+% bump on my current comp). Both would have me reset to entry level. Which one should I take?

Anyone else have someone in their life / work or personal/ who continually brags about “knowing how to set up a zoom meeting”? It’s month three of the pandemic. We all know how to set up a zoom meeting Karen.

Is the main advantage of applying to mba early simply to literally start making more sooner? Is it easier when you’re younger? I’m fortunately not in a rush to apply and I think next year my app will be stronger, my income is not gonna be much higher post mba, I’ll have another promotion, better recs, and less debt to take on. What am I missing?

Does EY have any mortgage benefits that we should look into? Any discounts or anything? I'm trying to search... not finding much but swear someone said we did.

Moms help me. I'm resentful that I got pregnant and now stuck dealing with the exhaustion of a newborn and recovery. My soul mate Hubby wanted kids, not me, but since it was "something he couldn't live without" I agreed since I was on the fence. He's super helpful and we have family to help out, which is more than most moms. But the exhaustion and PP depression is making me resent my decision and him. Baby is perfect, a regular healthy full term joy. I'm so blessed. But so miserable. Help.
