If everyone expects it doubt the fed will let it happen. Expecting a 2H2022 fed pivot
The fed can avoid recession by pivoting on rate increases and QT. But they can't do too much because inflation is high.
But imo, the last print will be the highest and inflation has peaked. I think they'll either slow down the rate hikes or %s or slow down QT. They def can't be this aggressive for too long. Maybe they will let a mini recession happen but come to the rescue eventually. I think it'll be second half of the year. Since their data is lagging and they are reactive not proactive

We are so far away from recession. The economy is so robust that the fed had to tighten the money flow just because so many people were complaining about it. If we ever do hit a recession, the fed will simply lower rates, and we’ll get flooded with new money, and we can all go back to complaining about inflation again
We aren't far from recession. Another negative gdp print and we are officially in a recession.
