Does anyone know whether a respondent has a right to appeal an EEOC determination of probable cause?

I’d love to hear from others but I think the answer to this is no. Typically the EEOC will invite you to resolve it through conciliation. I have had one where I asked for information about their damages during conciliation. They wouldn’t provide it but enough information came out that we were able to settle it with the claimant for a small amount and the EEOC didn’t pursue it further.

I had a very similar case with the Civil Rights Commission. I was not able to appeal this but the AG was open to me drafting a letter summarizing the facts and why there should not have been probable cause and she said she would consider not pursuing the complaint (she ultimately decided to continue to pursue it and we just had the hearing, ha).

I'm in the middle of a background check with Deloitte for a Project Delivery role. In the background check application I listed my previous employers - Cognizant/Teksystems etc but my resume only had the client names I worked at . Does this pose a problem if Deloitte HR compares my resume to the background check form ? Also my title within cognizant might have been an associate but my resume mentions the designation for the client. Is this a reason for concern? Will they ask me to justify it ?

Confession: I think I’m developing a bias towards men. For >4 years, I’ve been on projects of 10-40 ppl, with 4 men total. 3 now gone; all were 50+, ageist/mansplainers, that did not add value, actually hindered progress, and made more $. Also had a baby 2 yrs ago — Amicable and co-parenting from same home for the time being, but am the breadwinner + carry the bigger mental/household load.

I crave diversity on a team and hope to find love one day, but am exhausted/frustrated. Any advice?

45 LPA Base + 25% Variable Bonus + 25% RSUS.

Thanks

Hey ladies, sartorial Q here. Has anyone come across ANY fashionable shoe/bootie to wear to work that are actually comfortable? This is honestly my biggest struggle. I don’t wear high heels (a 2-3” block heel is ideal) and I also don’t wear flat flats (no arch support! 😂) and the backs of my ankles get torn up so badly from many lower cut shoes. Help a girl out if you have any go-to’s?! I’m looking to buy a pair black and a pair of chestnut shoes and make them my staples. Thank you in advance!

Crippling anxiety

Hey guys,

Just a paralegal here trying to not dwell on the small things in life.
Recently got a 141 on my LSAT with no studying - I feel like a failure in life. Can someone please explain to me how good or bad my score may be? Law is my passion but I don’t want to lead myself into an endless walk of shame ending where I am now. Any thoughts?

Or is that a super low number and should I expect to be fired soon 😂. My target billables is supposed to be 1680 a year. Also my hourly rate is only $109 because all we do is legal aid here.
