Convince the rest of the team to take the later flight
How much later and why? If this is a I fly delta whose flight is 730 and the rest of the team is on a United 700am - prob not a big deal. If everyone else does the 600am and you do an 800am because you like sleeping that won’t go over well
I had this issue once. I convinced the other two to take the later flight with me. Told our SM they changed the flight times. Never got caught and we had overall better attitudes on mondays
That’s integrity there. Good job!
Maybe justifiable if they’re on a crazy early flight. Or yours is different airline and half an hour later. But probably not ideal
It’s just really bad optics unless you have a documented reason. Your team mates on the earlier flight will also not be thrilled probably
It’s not a good look, unless there’s some legitimate reason
If you ever cause problems (project or personal), that'll be one thing they'll hold against you.
Also, leadership may not approve when they find out.
Everyone on the earlier flight will for sure be mad at you; if you plan on doing this, you should probably have a really good reason crafted for when someone asks
Bad idea. Take the flight others are on, are you crazy?
My teammates and I take various flights from 5am to 9 am Monday to same client site. We don't care as along as your not missing meetings or not getting work done.
Why is that a problem.
Are you missing meetings? Missing deadlines?

“Slightly later” could mean 30 minutes or 3 hours...
What’s your reason for doing so?
