Anyone else update their job on Fishbowl and get removed from all their bowls unexpectedly? I somewhat understand getting removed from the Consulting bowl (though it’s odd since I still have ties/can contribute to discussion there since I worked in consulting). But I can’t even access the Product Management bowl, which feels pretty strange to be in tech but barred from a product focused bowl. Mostly just wondering if anyone had luck getting back into bowls?

I interviewed for an L6 Sr program manager role and was offered an L5 program manager position at amazon. I have 5 YEO and a masters. I saw the L5 role only asks for 2 YEO. TC for the L5 is slightly more than I make now. Would accepting this be a good long term move? Would I be taking a step backwards?

Deciding between current firm and other offer—same salary, offer has slightly worse benefits. Current wlb can’t be beat (25-30hr work weeks) but bored and capped out career growth here. Other offer is a very interesting role w decent upside potential but hours will be more like 45-50. Any thoughts?

I have a senior who feels the need to break down every little thing they’re working on, repeating over and over the actions they are going to take after I ask them to do something. I get that he’s likely being overly prepared and wants to make sure I recognize he understands the asks, but I feel like it’s excessive. I’m not a micromanager and don’t need this level of detail. I want to make my senior feel supported, but is there anything I can suggest in this case without sounding like an ass?
