I have a pretty heavy flow and I use it along with tampons to avoid leakage. Lolz It is especially helpful at night, no more ruined sheets. I like using it during light days too. I don't have to worry about bleeding through or ruining a nice pair of undies. ๐๐ฝ
Lol @ the realness of this post! I love it.
The concept and the formation of THINX as a brand I want to support... but bleeding in my panties all day? Nah... I'm good.
Just give me a menstrual cup. ๐๐พ
I love Thinx but I would never not wear a tampon or pad while wearing them. I needed the extra security that Thinx provided. I've ruined so many underwear, clothes and sheets and they really helped stop that problem. โค๏ธ
AD1 Menstrual cups have been life changing for me. Seriously love them.
Ah. Sweet sweet menopause. Something to look forward to ladies. ๐
Yea I don't understand the washing though?? Personally #1 advocate for IUD. No period ๐ ๐ป
I can't really imagine the menstrual cup either and I don't actually and truly and really understand how it's used/placed either...
I can tell the difference for sure! Thinx are made with a thicker, scuba-like material so it holds the liquid and is weirdly dry wicking. I rinse mine in the sink before I throw it in the wash and just let it air dry.
Haha thank you all! This helps! But if you use tampons at the same time, why can't you just use dark underwear? Can you tell the difference? (Unless the leakage is big) Sorry for the deets but I'm finally getting answers to questions I have every time i see their ads pop in my feed ๐ฌ Thanks!
I love Thinx. It's a thick material, as AS1 said above. I wear it without any other products (tampons, etc) so it's just a more comfortable/convenient product for me. You do not feel like you're bleeding and wet all day, because the material is super absorbent. They are pretty easy to wash and you air dry (I just follow the instructions on it). I have a few pairs that I wear during my period with different levels of thickness (for heavier and lighter days), but I like them so much I even wear them when I'm not on my period.
Hmmm.... well, might not hurt to use on a light day.
I use it for the day of or day before I'm getting cycle for extra protection!
Qq given this thick material, do you end up with VPL or worse the VPL that also come with whatever the muffin top equivalent is of thighs?
And what about odor? I was fearful that sitting in my blood all day would stink a little?
No odor, but you do need to rinse them when you are done wearing. Can't be lazy and toss them in the hamper for a few days. No visible panty lines or muffin top. They really wear like a good quality underwear. I've started wearing on heavy days and am liking them.
Just got my Thinx in the mail. Iโve never looked forward to my period so much in my life lol. Brilliant product. Advertising unique and amaze. Package design was illustrious and delightful. The company has made tens of millions in first two years. Iโm completely inspired to start a biz/product designed and innovated by women. And Disrupt a market!
