Got a Remarkable 2. Really happy with it.

Writing experience is really close to paper. Battery life is great. I can access our Business Onedrive.
Actually enjoy the limited featureset (no appstore) as i really only use it for work purposes (kepping track of different projects, todo lists, taking notes in calls or meetings, proofreading and anotating drafts).

I use Notability on my iPad and I can't live without it. I agree that the writing experience isn't really like writing on paper, but I'm ok with the tradeoff most of the time bc it has so many other features. You can import PDFs and write on them, so I made my own planner templates and use it to house monthly agendas/calendars in addition to notes. I can also import files in there from mail, office, etc. and do a hand markup on a PDF or other document. You can choose and customize the paper backgrounds so you can write on whatever lines are comfortable for you, there are different color/thickness inks and highlighters, and you can cut/paste your handwriting and move it around. (I like to be able to organize my thoughts visually so I tend to use a graph paper grid, for example.) It has multiple levels of file structures, you can import photos and add audio to your notes, you can print and export your file as PDF, image or RTF, and you can even scan your existing handwritten notes and it will OCR them for you.

I also bought a remarkable 2 a while ago. Totally worth it. It really does replace pen and paper. You can create folders and specific “notebooks.” For me, it’s great for when I jump on a call and want to take quick notes. It can also convert notes to text if you want.

Looking for advice on handling a bully. I am relatively junior in the ranks, but have climbed significantly over my tenure and am now responsible for several areas of law for the co. One of the VPs of a department I support isn’t fond of me. It generally doesn’t bother me, but shes developed a habit recently that I need to address: on large group calls when asking for legal advice, she asks me “to reach out to outside counsel” rather than asking me for advice directly. How do I respond?
