Recently Store Managers have been offering me jobs from different locations but same company in my town. The company is T-Mobile. It’s going to be my first job. I have a couple questions for any former/current employees. Is it better to work for T-Mobile, metro by T-Mobile, or a third party T-Mobile? Any difference in benefits or wage? Thanks

24 year old female in a relationship but not married with the same concern. You’re not alone!
My 2-3 friend groups kind of crumbled after COVID happened. People scattered. We went from hanging out once a week to once a month if even that.

Now that we’re all vaccinated I’m putting in a lot more effort to hang out. I really don’t want to become one of those girls that only hangs out with her boyfriend.
Doll face (the show) has a great bit about that.
Same concern here. Following
Do you have kids? I feel like most of my friends are other moms. The long-term friends I’ve kept are going through the same seasons of life as me so we have common interests and issues to talk about (mostly about parenting at this point) Same with current and old coworker friends.
Oh and hanging out once in a while is about once or twice a year at this point
Everyone needs friends. Same issue with most of us

Try bumble BFF!!
I do too. Not that i don’t have people to ‘talk’ to, but crave that strong friendship you know… where you can really connect.
I’m in London tho - but at this point most my close friends are in different parts of the world 🤷🏻♀️
I am right there with you! I am 36 and in a completely different stage of life than others my age. My oldest starts college in August and youngest is going to be a HS sophomore. I married my high school sweetheart and we started a family pretty quickly. My friends are just now having kids so they range from babies to about 5 years old. We just don't share the same common interests anymore. On top of that my husband is disabled and no longer able to work so it really puts a damper on us meeting people when he doesn't/can't go out often. I feel like I am 65 in the body of a 36 year old after all of the "life experience" we have gone through. I am always open for friendships!!! I am in Maryland.
28 F NYC too👋
You’re absolutely not alone! I moved right when the pandemic hit last March and haven’t met one person I’d consider a friend since.
PM me if you want to chat!!!!!!
28F, married with no kids. Let’s be friends. I’m in DC tho!
I’m 26 in the NYC area if you want to connect ❤️

It takes a fair amount of time to build friendships and the past 16 months with the pandemic has put paid to most routes, making it much more difficult. I think trying to find some common thread helps - so maybe a sports club, book club, theatre or music, or friends of friends. Maybe see if your work has some clubs to join - and start saying yes to any invite where you may meet new people.
I do!
