Does anyone wear Ministry of Supply or other pseudo-activewear work clothes? I want to give them a try but not sure if they're legit: can pass as suits + are actually comfortable

Hadn’t heard of them but looks great - can’t stand wearing a suit, will try them out!

They look great. I’d never wear one to court, but would happily suit up M-F on non-court days. Partners seem to like that we “take things seriously”

What is a "good enough" reason to reach out to a partner at your firm? There is a partner at my firm in a completely different practice who comes from the same hometown as me (think ~5k population). I'm interested in hearing about his journey, but I don't want to do the type of work he does. Is it worth it for me to reach out?

My ASM is lazy and is incapable of doing the easiest basic tasks with recruitment. She receives all my end of day updates, is cc’d on all emails, makes me fill out 5 repetitive excel/smart sheet, and joins all my meetings but she still wants to call having me 5x daily about updates. I’m always the one to go to if other recruiters fail to meet client deadlines and cleaning up recruiters mistakes. How do I even handle this to begin with?

Ello fellow working class! I am curious to know if anyone has any suggestions on how to handle a coworker that has been nothing but horrendous to you and continually threatens to get me fired. It’s clear that management does not care. I can’t do what I want to do which is a solid KO, so I thought I was see if anyone has any suggestions on what I can do when I see this person in the office. Appreciate the feedback in advance!

Can you wear a light blue dress shirt every day? I used to wear a white shirt every day but think I'd like to switch it up. I am also quite simple so I don't like choosing outfits.. if I go blue it'll be a commitment. What do yall think. Is it as acceptable to wear a light blue shirt every day as it would be to wear a white shirt every day?

Throughout our legal careers, we’re told to reach out to the partner (or mid/senior assoc if available) if we have questions.

I’m a second year L&E lit associate and the partner wants us running point on all our cases. However, he literally never responds to questions I have on case handling/strategy, and is super vague when he does answer questions

Is this normal? If so, aside from just badgering him (which annoys him), what can I do?
