I think it's worth it for the salary raise, but the odds of you being converted to full time is a bit iffy. Here's why:
- slowdown in advertising will definitely impact isobar, even though they're more"Digital"and less of a traditional agency
- Agencies are owned by holding companies that function on the basis of maintaining and expanding margin. Their likelihood to convert you depends on their pipeline drafting healthy. If things were to remain as frothy as they've been, it's be an easy conversion. But that seems less the case for the back half of 202.
- Agencies maintain a ton of contractor workers, generally. Easier to cut down and a manage costs.
Easiest way to think about it is that they bring you as a contractor to see how you'll perform. What you should ask them is:
- what are the factors to convert to FTE?
- what's the time line?
- How about the rest of the data analysis team? Are they Contractors too?
