Does anyone work at NBCUniversal Media and can they speak to the wfh policy? I’m hearing hybrid but have also heard people come in anywhere between 1x every few weeks to 3x a week.

I have heard (from a close friend who works there) they require 3 days back, 2 set (for collaboration and team building) and 1 floating of your choosing.

This true and dependent on your team.

It definitely depends on the team. I don’t go in often unless there’s a team event on-site.

While most teachers are protected by teacher unions, I feel my voice hasn’t been heard at all with my concerns of going back to school next week. Our diocese has decided on full return 5 days/ week for all 42 schools despite a recent increase in COVID in our communities. Every other school that I know of in my state is either choosing remote learning to start the year or a hybrid approach, yet that was not an option for us. Are other Catholic schools I. The same boat? Stay safe!

Can someone explain how mega backdoor Roth works?

Here’s my understanding based on Google:

- I can invest 20500 to traditional 401k
- Company match & additional $ goes to Roth 401k (40500)
- At year end I roll this over to Roth IRA with a form my brokerage gives me. Does this sound correct?
- What happens if the value of assets goes up/down at year end?

How are the paralegals in your department organized/structured? What are the pros and cons? We’re exploring the idea of a paralegal center of excellence. Currently paralegals are reporting to the lawyers they support. The disadvantages are that the paralegals are siloed, so there’s no back-up if they’re out and they don’t have anyone who can support them if their work gets too busy. Additionally, the lawyers have a hard time accurately evaluating them since they can’t easily compare their work.
