Hi Guys, I want to know about current WFH situation in Accenture. Can I join Accenture and work remotely for next 7-8 months. Accenture
Hi all. Relocating to Portland. Looking for reccos on neighborhood to live in. Am remote so can be anywhere up there. Have kids so don’t want to grungy, but don’t want any suburb that’s too boring. Any great little neighborhoods safe but still interesting with cafes around etc? Thanks in advance.
Hi folks, if anyone working in EY Gds gurgaon, please let me know. As Iam new to the city and most people choose wfh. Any leads are appreciated. Thanks
While most teachers are protected by teacher unions, I feel my voice hasn’t been heard at all with my concerns of going back to school next week. Our diocese has decided on full return 5 days/ week for all 42 schools despite a recent increase in COVID in our communities. Every other school that I know of in my state is either choosing remote learning to start the year or a hybrid approach, yet that was not an option for us. Are other Catholic schools I. The same boat? Stay safe!
Hey I’m brand new here, living in Ireland but open to remote working or relocation for the right deal. Could use some help! Thanks! 😊
Any nurses out there that work from home? What do you do? What do you like most or hate the most about it? I would love to find something part time (or full time of its great) while I try to decide if I want to continue with bedside.
Actual confession. I have IBS so the remote-first nature that many workplaces are now adopting has truly saved my mental health and maybe even career.
Interested to hear how many folks here are still working remote. Has anyone lost a job opportunity to the salary transparency law?
I recently was told I’m “unhirable for remote work” because im in CO. (Which is fine, sounds like I dodged a bullet anyway).
Curious about everyone else’s thoughts and experiences.
Can anyone share total comp for associate product counsel for Google in a LCOL location. I would be remote. 5 YOE.
Curious if anyone knows if their agency uses software to monitor and track work from home employees productivity. Do they disclose this and if so which agencies?
My 5 year plan includes having a baby, and i am wondering how that plays out with the consulting life and being on the road. What is everyone’s experience with this? Any advice? Can i ask for WFH?
I’m looking to help a colleague get started in his engineering career. He’s a mechanical engineer with about a year of experience, looking for an entry level role. Open to remote position or relocation! Any and suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
Hello! I am starting a Bible study devoted to teachers! This season has been hard, and I believe teachers need to be poured into so we’re able to pour into the kiddos.
It’ll be remote, and I was hoping it could be accompanied by an encouraging group message as well. Let me know if you are interested and we can find a way to connect!

Has anyone ever had any luck applying for a hybrid job and convincing them to let you work fully remote? I'm seeing a lot of hybrid postings for my role but not a lot of fully remote ones.
Anyone hiring a fully remote mid-level real estate associate? Pls DM me. Eventually will relocate to Dallas, so if there’s an office there, might help for eventual hybrid case. TIA :)

I have one doctor prescribing adderall and went to a different one for Zoloft. Is there any reason I would need to consolidate doctors? Each specialize in the respective field so feel fine having two.
Can someone explain how mega backdoor Roth works?
Here’s my understanding based on Google:
- I can invest 20500 to traditional 401k
- Company match & additional $ goes to Roth 401k (40500)
- At year end I roll this over to Roth IRA with a form my brokerage gives me. Does this sound correct?
- What happens if the value of assets goes up/down at year end?
TCS i completed my technical round. Still HR round pending. Received a mail to upload the document in the TCS portal. Is that mean i through the technical. Can anyone please clarify me
Any idea how the yearly bonus in KPMG is calculated? Want to understand why I received what I received.
Best sweetie I’ve had in awhile 🥰
Hi guys, I'll be joining TCS soon as an IT Analyst. So I have a query about what is TCS digital and will I be able to get into it and what is my initial buffer time to move to Digital? Appreciate your response on this

Thoughts on jumping from Workday to ServiceNow? I have had a few recruiters reach and mention former Workday consultants jumping over seamlessly. What are some pros/cons to consider? I’m pretty happy in the Workday ecosystem but any insight would be appreciated.

Why are FIRE minded people into having multiple investment properties? It sounds like a nightmare having to deal with tenants and if you want dividends, can’t you just invest in REIT or preferred stock ETF? Are returns that much better?
Anyone uses TDAmeritrade? What does it mean "please beware this security has special margin requirements"? Does that mean I didn't buy enough shares in the order? I have sufficient available funds tho

Any of you switch to a data analyst or other more “tech” type role? Or just a career change that isn’t accounting?
I’m a tax manager with over 10 years of experience (5 years public, 4 in industry, and back to public for 3 but in “transformation”). I got burnt out during covid and took a break from work. And now I’m trying to decide if I want to take a big pay cut and start over in a data analytics role. Just feeling sort of lost 😭
Senior Business Analyst base salary + bonus at Kearney in London? Does not need to be exact, a range will be fine :) cheers
Additional Posts in In-House Counsel
Anyone go from litigation in-house to in-house corporate? I'm in-house litigation now, but I realize that those roles are harder to come by, and so wondering if I should get ahead of myself sooner rather than later and jump to corporate to expand my skill set and set up for more exit opportunities in the future. 10 YOE in Lit.
Have the recent special bonuses/hot corporate lateral market made any impact on the in-house job market? I can see more biglaw lawyers sticking around due to the bonuses and/or candidates commanding more from in house employers.
What tools do you have access to as a privacy, compliance, employment, or IP lawyer? I miss BL because we had all the best tools at our fingertips. Now we don’t have Westlaw, Lexis, or Practical Law and yet we are expected to not rely too heavily on outside counsel. It’s absurd.
Has anyone changed areas of law while in-house? If so, how did you do it and what was that like?
Just started working in-house within the last couple of months. First real attorney gig after doing compliance. The GC was terminated and I had to fill in the role as GC (even though that’s not what I’m called). My company says they don’t need a GC. Talked to my boss today and they want to hire another to take things off my plate since I am the only attorney. They plan to rewrite my job position to do more risk and compliance. Am I wrong for feeling like I should have been included in the convo?
Having this debate with a colleague….if you tell the business you will turn around a document/respond to email, etc “shortly” do you think that necessarily implies that same day? Or just generally that you will deliver soon…ie, in the next couple of days?
I have one pro bono case that I kept when I left my firm to go in house. It’s a matter completely unrelated to my company and I have malpractice insurance through the nonprofit organization associated with the case. I’ve made clear to my client that I’m repping this client in my personal capacity. No one has asked me specifically about pro bono stuff at my company - if I know there’s no conflict of interest, is this something I should disclose? To whom should I disclose this?
Has anybody here ever moved from an associate position at a firm to a non-attorney type position at a company (e.g. manager of business/legal affairs or compliance/reg or contracts manager or something else) then eventually found their way to an in-house attorney position?
Anyone know rough salary ranges for Fortune 100 media company as an Associate Counsel/Counsel position. Spoke to a recruiter and they said the range for Associate Counsel was 110K base. Isn't this way below market for someone with a few years experience?
Anyone have any leads on a Trademark Counsel position? I'm just starting my 7th year of practice and want out of private practice. I'm in Colorado and would prefer to stay here but am open to full remote opportunities as well. Feel free to message me if you know of anything. Thank you!
Is it weird to ask during an interview in house whether there is any time tracking?
Context: I’m leaving my current job because I absolutely despise billing and cannot get with the “record your hours” program. I have ADHD so jumping from project to project is important for me to keep my focus (it’s what works for me), and having to stop and bill messes up that chaotic rhythm I found. So I want to be 100% sure there will be no tracking my daily time in this new position.
Contriversal topic but here it goes: I’m in-house a F100 and happen to be a white male (although I do have a fairly severe “invisible” disability). Progression to a management level attorney is quite difficult despite the relatively large. Recently the company announced DEI initiative that includes targets and goals for women and people of color (not applicable to other minorities). I absolutely want more diversity in our law department - I’ve taken steps to help ensure that there is - but…
Saw posting just come up for a role at a place I was a legal intern at during law school. I had a really positive experience there and I personally know the Chief Legal Officer and the CEO. Is it inappropriate to reach out to the CLO directly?
Tax counsel jobs seem to be rare, compared to the more common tax senior analyst/manager/director roles. Anyone have any insight into compensation and whether companies put a premium on JDs? Looking at HCOL areas for 5-8 yrs of exp and want to understand reasonable salary bands.
What are the most in-demand areas of legal expertise for in-house positions? (Other than/in addition to privacy). What are the least?
Hey there! Interested to know if anyone has worked with an executive or career coach. If yes, did you find the experience helpful? Why did you go and what did you learn/do? Thanks!
How are the paralegals in your department organized/structured? What are the pros and cons? We’re exploring the idea of a paralegal center of excellence. Currently paralegals are reporting to the lawyers they support. The disadvantages are that the paralegals are siloed, so there’s no back-up if they’re out and they don’t have anyone who can support them if their work gets too busy. Additionally, the lawyers have a hard time accurately evaluating them since they can’t easily compare their work.
