Currently in outpatient ortho PT. Been in the career for several years and I’ve enjoyed it but I’m wanting to look for other opportunities outside of patient care. No interest in doing a residency or teaching. I’ve been thinking of doing an MBA but unsure of what opportunities out there such as admin roles, ortho sales, consulting, etc. I’ve taken several business classes in undergrad and enjoyed them. Looking for advice on career transition and whether an MBA is worth it. Thanks!

I’m a fairly new grad. Got licensed in January and started working in February. I moved across the state for this job taking my family with me. Now 4 months in it’s such a toxic environment. How does your office handle late patients when it's weather/road related? We had a patient show up 10 minutes late and threw a hissy fit because he had driven 40 miles on snowy roads to get there. And I felt bad, but we legitimately could not squeeze him in.

Personally I practice out patient ortho in Rochester, NY making $65,000 annually with a good benefit package. 6 years of exp. And not entirely sure how much more I could make in home care/other settings.
