I see a fundamental issue with consultant salary/role expectations when exiting. What do you expect when exiting MBB after 3, 5, 7 years post MBA? What's your target (VC, IB, FAANG etc.)?
Hi, I have more than 5+ years of experience in Performance Testing and engineering. I do not want to continue in tech. Want to switch to management. So planning to do a PMP course. Really confused about the consequences after the course, whether I'll be able to successfully get a management role or not. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions for me? Any guidance is appreciated.
I have offer from Mindfire Solutions with CTC- 8LPA as Senior Test Engineer and from Google operation center with CTC- 6.4 LPA + 1.7L joining bonus as Senior Associate. In my current company, I am a Test Engineer and my CTC is 4 LPA and I gave bridge program and cleared the Associate Consultant role. My CTC will get doubled in next 8-9 months. Folks from PWC, can anybody please add my resume to the referral system? Thanks in advance :)
I may have an opportunity to go after a VP/CD-Art role at FCB Chicago on Cotonelle & Kleenex. Thoughts? Salary range? Watch outs? Love it? Etc.? Thanks. A little more into: I’m coming from a mid-size regional shop where I get to touch a lot of work, but fight daily to produce quality.
Do any of the MBBs consult for FAANG or top tech companies? Or do all those companies exclusively use in house strategy teams? If any MBB does, a referral would be much appreciated
Anyone familiar with the “CitadelX” team within Citadel? Got pinged for a Technical Program Manager role for that team, want to understand comp & culture
Hi All, I have an offer from Deloitte M&A Restructuring, A&M PEPI MAS and PwC PEVC. Any thoughts on pros and cons of both. (Not a humble brag but thankful everyone is hiring so much!)
Team, made through 4 rounds at SF for a non technical role. Next is a panel presentation. How much weight does it have in the process? Also, I just got a promotion at my company. Will SF consider what I am making or they are hard to negotiate? At least RSU? Background: this role is hard to fill due to multilingual requirement. I am almost certain I am the only candidate.
Is it acceptable to drop out of a job interview process because of how long it's been taking? I understand that interviewing can take a while but it's a role that I'm not 100% invested in and the dragged out process has turned me off from it even further. There's 3-4 rounds left. If I tell the recruiter im no longer interested, do I even mention the long process as the reason?
PHR or SHRM? I am looking to get more certifications related to HR vs recruiting, but I am unsure on which one is "better" or will help me grow into more of a strategic HR role. Help!!!
Need ethics/moral help from my fellow 🐟 I got laid off from ACN earlier this year. I accepted an offer and started at a boutique consulting firm exactly one month ago today. This morning, I got an email from Deloitte recruiting for the same position I’m in now, which is where I want to develop my career. Part of me wants a break from the big consulting firms, but at the same time, going to a Big 4 would feel more at home to me. Is it worth entertaining the offer, or should I just stay away?
Hey 🐠 What is the DFO - Salesforce.com job in Deloitte USI? Is it different than the Normal Salesforce Analyst / Consultant role?
I work at a tech law boutique in Colorado. We only do commercial transactions and M&A. We’re hiring attorneys with 3+ years of experience. Must be barred or willing to be barred in Colorado. This is truly a “lifestyle” firm. My benefits are amazing, my hours requirement is only 1500/year, and the pay really good. If you bill more than the minimum, you’re rewarded extremely well for it. I would love to work with more POC. If you think you might be a good fit, send me a DM 🤓
I have worked in the HR space for the past 9 years, however most of my experience has been in Talent Acquisition. I do want to move into a People Operations/Generalist role. I’m planning to go for a HR certificate but unsure if I should go for a PHR or SHRM. Please advise!
Just finalized and booked my wife and I to a vacation in Europe for end of the year. Feels amazing to call it our honeymoon after 4 years of marriage ❤️ Delayed gratification and totally worth it.
Looking for an Onboarding specialist , Talent Acquisition , Learning and Development role. 4 YOE. Salary : 90k + with benefits
Hi, all! I am currently in the process of switching firms. I’m at another big 4 in financial services. My new role has sent out a survey for market team preference between Financial Services and Products & Services (tech, media, telecommunications, consumer markets, etc). In terms of work and exit ops, which would you choose and why? Thank you!
Anyone willing to offer a resume critique? I'm seeking to renter the workforce after a 2 year medical hiatus and want to make sure my summary section explains it well
I’m planning to leave my firm end of the month. However, I recently found out that I’m gonna be staffed as one of the seniors on a client going forward. My SM is super nice and supportive about me being on this client long-term, but I’m starting to feel bad. Planning to put my 2 weeks notice in soon. It’s gonna be hard to share that with him because there’s been a bit of turnover on the team. Any advice?
Has anyone made the switch from consultant to Project Manager in industry? How was the transition? Moving onto a 3rd round for a PM role, haven’t had formal PM training but they said the next interview will be PM specific questions. What’s the best way to prepare?
The hustle culture is killing me. Working until midnight everyday with no salary raise this year. Is it time to move? Just heard Deloitte people are getting raise this year.
Have an interview coming up with the chief revenue office. The role I'm interviewing for is the head of NA HR supporting him. It's a maturing startup in hyper grow stage with aggressive revenue goals. Appreciate any pointers of things I should bring up and discuss that would give him the confidence that I'd be an excellent HR partner. What has come up to my mind is asking about his major challenges and his revenue attainment strategies, and what my views are of supporting him from people's side
Folks who know/managed to generate a large capital (in Millions), what are some of the reliable and capable sources/people/websites to target? Healthcare industry if that matters. Thanks!
