God no. BAH is a gov contractor and the pay reflects that

What is bah? Are you a sheep? 🐑

Not better than the strategy practices, probably not better than MC. Federal rates are a real salary depressant.

like

Left BAH for Deloitte...they definitely pay less. Most people on my BAH project were under 100k with almost 8-10 years of experience

like

Most likely no.

like

Oops I meant to Big 4 Federal vs BAH. Commercial rates are much higher than fed anywhere

like

If vs BAH Fed then no. If vs BAH Commercial then depends on skill and experience.

EY has no cell phone either

like

I don’t understand the no cell phone crap. What if you are on PMO? You are expected to use your computer?

like

Depends on skillset and group. On both sides.

For A-123/FIAR work?

No

No. Interviewed there recently, pay was considerably lower than at B3.

My suspicion is that the economics of federal work scrape against the boundaries of what quality talent are willing to accept. That would mean they all pay close to as much as they “can” given the revenue potential.

Yes, yes they are

Good God no. No cell phone...maybe a laptop...lack letters...no bonus if you are lower than the SM Level. High deductible health plan. Crappy pto. They may offer a slightly higher base for junior level staff, but it is nothing to write home about when you compare perks from other places

Came from BAH fed. From my experience, no they don’t pay better. Also had offers from PwC and EY, which also paid better

I’ve been on H1B October 2019, expiring in 2022. I’m kind of clueless as to what happens next. Does my firm start the green card process soon because it’s been almost 2 years (ive heard/read you need to work 2 years before they do that at big 4). What does that entail and how long until the green card comes out after that? And when they renew my H1B for another 3 years is that a guarantee extension and not a lottery like the first one?

Hi all! For an experienced hire as a Human Capital Consultant at Deloitte, what should I expect the salary/sign-on bonus to be at a MCOL city? I have approx. 3.5 YOE (non-consulting), MBA and MS degree (non target school) and also SHRM certified (which is probably irrelevant for the role but thought I’d share anyways). Already did my research but the range is kind of all over the place for experienced hires so just want to have a ballpark. Thanks!
