How much should an ASM at a mid size chain make

So, I should be negotiating for my pay soon for my Administrative Assistant job. Currently making 13/hr as a Temp to Hire in the position. Research for State, National, and Industry averages has been mostly unhelpful because they're all different. The lowest Average is 35k, and the Highest average is 45k. How can I try to convince my boss that I'm worth the 45k? Especially since it would be an over 50% pay increase.

I just opened a vanguard taxable brokerage account since I have there my IRAs accounts..I would like to invest small amounts but it looks like I can not buy fractional shares…is this correct or am I missing any? Thanks!
