I found out managers at my company have our promotions and raises in hand during our annual review.
The numbers being already approved with HR and finance.
Without knowing what that information is, how do I go about “intercepting” it and presenting my achievements and negotiate? Should set up a meeting ahead of my annual review?

I got a huge TC raise and looking for a new car. I am deciding between:
- Porsche 911 base
- Porsche 718 Cayman/Boxter
- Tesla Model S
- Taycan base or 4S

I’ve driven a Tesla for a year or more and feel like I know what I’m getting into. I am single, 29, and have the cash to buy any one of these, but looking for the right value/car ratio.

Help! I interviewed for a role last week Thursday, the interview went well and I was told I was a top candidate and would continue to another interview with the VP this week either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. I reached out Friday before five to send a thank you note and confirm my availability. I was then told she was waiting for a response on interview times. I reached out again today, hoping I would get a confirmation on interview, no response. Should I assume I’m being ghosted?

Has anyone had to do a case study interview? I’m being asked to essentially do a mock contract analysis. Any tips?

When a recruiter follows up on a job & tells you they’re still in the interview process for that role... is it exactly what it sounds like? Or could that be an underlying meaning for something else?

Do you guys ever just tell recruiters that the process is taking too long and withdraw your application? This guy made contact with me 2 weeks ago, said he’d get an interview set up with internal HR, then ghosted me, then appeared out of nowhere and told me I had a call with internal HR the next. There’s 4 more steps after this. It’s just too much. I know that’s a normal timeline, but the point is it just takes too long now.

Anybody in a similar soup, where your core skills lie in Business Consulting, but you are being repeatedly put in IT implementations. Experiencing gaslighting almost every second day. Should I take this offer? Currently M2 tax manager at B4 based in BANW with just under 120k salary 6Yoe. The industry offer is base 30% increase + 15% bonus and 100k equity 4yr vesting. It's a SF based fintech company and the team seems great. It will be fully remote position. For many reasons I started looking outside of PA and this offer seems great.
