Hi fishes, in urgent need of your suggestions.
One of my friend is having offer from Oracle Pune for software developer role in Oracle store team. but he does not have clear idea of the role whether it will be operations, support or development work.
Does anyone know what kind of work is there in store team. Also, is it possible to change the project once we get inside?
Urgent suggestions required...
Thanks!

Yeah. Most of them joining are from other Big4 firms
A lot of dissent in the ranks, bad time
@EY lot of finance roles in industry, nothing cool yet, one went boutique consultancy and tripled his salary lol
95% of Accenture M&A group is integration PMO.. we have like 5 folks across the board that do consistently do pre-deal
That’s US-only. Europe and Asia are mostly CDD/ODD for upper MM and larger PE funds
Accenture is not known for an M&A tbh! uncle D has decent presence among the large deals. What’s your focus area Accenture op?
Of course it’s not “known” for M&A, it’s known for being a technology company b/c that’s how the company grew up.
M&A is small in the US and does a lot more PMO (to A2’s point) than DD, Target Screening or Inorganic Growth Strat (though there is some). Leadership looks at the practice as a way to get pull through for Management Consulting and Technology, since those programs end up being $100M+ vs a couple million at a time (the big machine looks at anything less than $100M client/year as more or less opportunistic but not core/emphasized).
Uncle D has an M&A practice? 25 years doing M&A , never once run into it, learn something every day
You’re either ignorant or lying. You decide.
