So I have an offer from both EY for Tech Consulting - Cybersecurity and Booz Allen Hamilton for Commercial Cyber Consultant.
While EY pays about 12k more, I’m concerned about my WLB. Booz Allen Hamilton seems great, but the slightly lower pay and smaller commercial practice makes me slightly concerned for my future career opportunities if I decide to leave.
Not sure what to pick and I’d love to hear how your experience has been in the cyber practice at Booz Allen Hamilton & EY

I’m looking for some additional tips and/or specific things to focus on in preparation for the multi-round interview process for a role at Amazon Web Services in what I assume is for one of the cloud services team. From what I’ve gathered, is the interviews are largely based on the leadership principles. However, how do I know which would be asked? which would be more related to the role/or team I’d be on? What other types of questions to prepare for leading to the 1-on-1 with the hiring manager
Worse. Maybe 2/3 - 3/4 of us value
OP, Europe also has massive social care networks and other benefits, way more paid vacation, maternity leave, etc. Don't get confused with apples and oranges.
Pay is worse, but quality of life, respect for after hours, vacation etc is all adding up
I'd love to hear more from anyone who has experience working in EU
Depends on where. In Scandinavia juniors get more, but as you reach CD level the US pays way way more. For London, Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin etc you're probably looking at a 40% pay cut.
Well I'm Canadian AD1 so we've got many of the same networks. Still looking to see if I'll be able to save if I move over or not. Not to mention many cities over there have higher cost of living.
Europeans have one of the highest levels of quality of life, if they're able to save and go on vacation for a month, I assume you could too with proper personal finances management. US is rough if you're coming from Canada...
Is it hard for an American to work in eu?
In London I'm finding the pay a bit low in ratio to how expensive the living situation is but the benefits + vacation are incredible. It's fairly similar to cost of living vs. earning in Toronto.
Thanks @Weber toronto is a where im coming from and London is a top contender. I was hoping for things to loosen up a little financially if I moved...
Yeah, Toronto is quite expensive to live in as well and I find day to day things like phone bills, groceries or even a pint of beer to be more manageable in London. Rent is still high for what you get though.
Way worse but you get health insurance and way more time off.
WAY WAY WORSE.
