Does FAANG’s strategy and ops manager role pay higher, or bank’s strategy role? I have 6 yrs of experience in total with a masters.

What are the benefits of working at a small law firm (about 10 attorneys) as opposed to a midsize firm. What is the difference in the amount of work/ billable hours, benefits (health insurance and PTO), opening doors for future career opportunities, etc. I have an interview at a small law firm, which is not what I ideally wanted, but I am considering it because of the COVID uncertainties. I appreciate any kind of guidance.

Actively looking for an HR generalist role! Does anyone know any roles opening up soon in your companies? My background: have a BBA in HRM, MSHRM, and SHRM-CP certification. One year and a couple of months in EY’s People Advisory practice, and some HR internship experiences. I’ve done work with the talent team on my projects in the past. I’m looking to go internal ASAP so let me know if you have advice or know of any roles opening in your company 🙂

What exit opportunities are there after 2 years at Deloitte advisory analytics? With a bachelor in stats. Trying to grow more and faster.

I’m a second year associate with a split lit/transactional practice interviewing (second round) for an in house position this week. Interview is with the general counsel. Any interview tips? Wondering what questions I should make sure to ask and what skills to highlight given it’s a more entry level in house position and they know I’m coming from firm experience. Thanks in advance!

🐠🐠 Wondering how you'd perceive a person in a C-Suite or leadership position: - typically a smooth talker - acts like he was struck by lightning when things don't go his way, though it shouldn't have been a surprise - claims to have low EQ when he causes misunderstandings, yet doesn't take action to resolve it, or get help to raise his EQ - says he doesn't know anything about current events (or ones from a few years ago) or keeps up with news because he only has Netflix, no cable & such

I’ve been feeling really down about my job lately. Last night I randomly applied for a job at EY-P that I thought I perfectly fit the bill for. Within 12 hours I was reached out from a recruiter and was asked to schedule an interview. Even if it doesn’t go much farther It feels like the confidence boost I needed to know there are other options out there for me.
